Roller shutters for South Yunderup homes

WA Police recorded 14 burglaries in South Yunderup in 2025 and 15 in 2021. With an average of 12 a year across the five years from 2021 to 2025, the numbers are too small to read a trend, and a handful of incidents moves the count a long way. Back in 2017 there were 20.

The 2025 count works out at 3.6 per 1,000 residents, a little under the metropolitan Perth rate of 4.0. That rate is based on the 2021 Census population of 3,860. The suburb has grown by an estimated 17.4% between 2021 and 2025, so the rate shown probably overstates things a little. The count covers homes and businesses together.
